Mini Schnauzers and Havanese

I owned pet mini Schnauzers for 15 years before I got involved with Miniature Schnauzer Rescue in 1995, a non-profit organization for the placement of Mini's that can no longer be kept by their owners. I worked with MSR in portland fostering and placing many rescued minis for over 11 years before starting another rescue group called MapleCreek Miniature Schnauzer Rescue in 2006 WITH THE0NE. Theone Hutchman and I are working this rescue together. This has been extremely rewarding.
In 1995 I was fortunate to obtain two females from a breeder who could no longer keep her dogs and allowed ME to breed them and show their puppies if they ended up to be show quality pups. That is when I started MapleCreek Miniature Schnauzers. Since then I obtained my foundation bitch "B.J.", a "Rep" and "daisy" daughter.
i have been breeding and improving my lines ever since, showing those Mini's that have promise.
Ch MapleCreek's Fire Storm, aka "Junior," became our first Champion in January of 2001.
Ch MapleCreek's Magic Equation, aka "Einstein," became our second Champion in July 2005.
Ch MapleCreek's Forever Amber, aka "Amber," received her Championship in June 2006.
CH MapleCreek's Magic Moment, aka "mickey" received his Championship in June 2008,
ch maplecreek's promises promises aka "andy" received his championship in 2018,
ch maplecreek's raining ty's, aka "rainy", received her championship in august 2021
ch mystic lights falling rain by maplecreek, aka "capo", received his championship october 2021.
I am extremely proud of all my beautiful and handsome dogs.
my priority in my breeding program has always been and will always be Health first, Personality second, Conformation third and other appointments last. i absolutely adore my Mini's. my dogs and puppies are raised in my home and given a lot of love and hands-on attention. i expose them to as many types of situations as i can safely so they are very well socialized before they leave me. This is important for both the pups i sell as pets and also for the pups i keep to show.
All of my dogs are very solid and agile. The puppies i sell as pets have natural ears unless otherwise specified and are sold on a spay/neuter contract and are not to be bred.
In 2005 I purchased my first Havanese. Darcy, Ch Flaming Geysers Dulcinea. she received her Championship in 2007, SHE passed all of her health requirements and produced several wonderful litters before she was retired. Since Darcy I have had 4 more champions: Ch MapleCreek's Come Home Bill Bailey, CH MapleCreek's Days of Wine and Roses, CH MapleCreek's Christmas Bells, CH Abode's Chase What Matters at MapleCreek and are working on more. I am very proud of all my Havanese, they are such sound, fun dogs.
