I am a breeder of Miniature Schnauzers as well as doing rescue, am a member of the Portland Miniature Schnauzer Club and show my dogs that are quality enough to show the rest are sold as pets. 
My pet puppies come with natural ears, tails docked and dew claws removed and have a full health warranty against any genetic defects without any conditions, limitations or exceptions.  All my pet puppies are sold on a spay/neuter contact and cannot be bred.  The puppies are raised in my home along with the rest of my dogs and are very well socialized both with adults and children before they go to their new homes.    I would be more than happy to talk to you in person but I wanted to give you a heads up first to see which way you are inclined to go.  There is a substantial difference in the price of a rescue dog and a puppy.  We very seldom get puppies into rescue. 
Below is the information for rescue if you choose to go that route keep in mind that not all the dogs we get into rescue can be placed in homes with small children.
